The course
Nine greens, eighteen tee boxes, and the Pacific in view from most of them — a links-style course laid over a homestead farm on the wild shore of Moresby Island.
The land was a Mather family homestead from the late 1800s. In 1969 locals started shaping it into a golf course, and by 1972 the first rounds were played — volunteers from a society of local golfers kept it alive for decades. Today it’s billed as the most westerly course in BC: nine greens, each played from two different tees for a full 18 holes of par-72 golf beside the Pacific.

How nine plays as eighteen
The Willows has nine greens but eighteen tee boxes. Play the front from one set of markers, then take the back nine from the second — new angles, new yardages, and a genuinely different hole into the same green. It’s how a nine-green links gives you a full, changeable par-72 round.
